Burndown Chart

A burn-down chart is a graphical representation of the work to be done in function of time. The work to be done (or backlog) is often represented on the vertical axis, while time on the horizontal. That is, is a dynamic graph of the work completed and to be completed. E 'useful to predict when all work is completed. It is often used in agile software development methodologies like Scrum.

sprint burn down chart is a graph, shown in public, which represents the work that remains to be completed in the sprint backlog. Updated daily, it gives a simple view of how a sprint progresses. It also provides quick views of the guide for reference. There are also other types of Burndown, such as Release Burndown Chart showing the amount of work to complete the goal of commitment necessary to make a product release (which usually extends through multiple iterations) and 'Alternative Release Burndown Chart, which carries almost the same task, but clearly shows the changes in scope (scope) on the content of issue (Release List), eliminating the baseline.
